Quick answers about Karaokê Stage.
The name Karaokê Stage is never translated.
A karaoke queue system via QR code. The host (bar/event/party) shows the QR; customers request songs from their phone — no app install required. You can request anonymously or create a singer account (@username) to appear in rankings across any karaoke.
Sign up at /auth. You get 5 free days of Pro (card required, cancel anytime during the trial — we don't charge). Pick the karaoke name (becomes the public link), open the panel and show the QR to customers.
Scan the karaoke QR and request your song — that's it. To appear in rankings, create a singer account at /entrar (email or Google/Apple) and pick a @username.
Each round has a slot limit (set by the host). When full, new songs go to the next round. When you close a round, waiting songs migrate in order.
It's the 'now playing' indicator. The pulsing equalizer bars and rotating halo show which song is live right now, both on the customer screen and the host panel. Only one song at a time has this indicator.
At /entrar (or via the 'I'm a singer' button at the top of the karaoke screen). Accept terms, pick a @username (permanent!) and your stage name. You can also add your @Instagram.
No. The @username is permanent to preserve your history across all karaokes. Choose carefully. You can change your stage name and @Instagram as often as you like.
Go to /me/cliente (footer link 'My singer profile'). There you change your stage name, @Instagram and pick whether you appear in rankings as @username or @Instagram.
No. Go straight to /me/cliente anytime. You only need the QR to join a specific karaoke.
On /me/cliente under 'My rankings', tap 'Leave' on the karaoke. Your songs stay in queue, but your name disappears from that host's public lists.
On /me/cliente, under 'Danger zone', type your @username to confirm and tap 'Delete permanently'. Deletion is immediate. If you also have a host account on the same email, it remains intact.
No. Each login (email/Apple/Google) is one type only — host or singer. To also sing, sign out of the host account and sign in with a different email/Apple ID/Google to create the singer account. This keeps business data (subscription, billing, host panel) separate from personal ranking data.
At /auth. 5 free days of Pro (card required, cancel anytime during the trial). Without subscribing, the account becomes Free (10 songs/day, no guest QR, no rankings). You can subscribe to Basic or Pro anytime.
5 days with all Pro features (song & singer rankings, custom periods, exports). Card required at signup — you're not charged if you cancel during the trial. Without subscribing by the end of day 5, the account becomes Free (10 songs/day, no guest QR, no rankings). One trial per account.
Under 'My account' → 'Manage payment' (opens the secure Stripe portal in a new tab).
Under 'My account' → 'Delete account'. Soft delete: 30 days to change your mind and restore. After 30 days, data is permanently erased.
Sign in again within 30 days. A banner appears with a 'Restore account' button. After restoring, there's a 7-day cooldown before you can delete again.
Yes, 3 cycles per year (anti-abuse). The 3rd attempt in a year is immediate and irreversible — no 30-day window.
The first time you open the host panel, a step-by-step tutorial appears automatically covering QR, rounds, queue, rankings and exports. You can close it any time and switch language at the top of the card — it follows the app language. It won't reopen once finished, but everything is always here in the Help Center.
In the host panel, open the Instagram export: 8 templates (Mix Tape, Backstage Pass, Poster Arena, Neon Stage, Podium, Editorial, Retro and Bar Vibe). Title and layout adapt to the content (songs, singers, mix), and the list always fits 1080×1920, from 1 to 25+ items, without truncating long names. Available on the Pro plan.
From the host panel, open the QR. On desktop (Chrome) use 'Floating window' — stays on top of other apps. Print it too and leave on tables.
Yes. The link is shown next to the QR — copy and paste anywhere (WhatsApp, Stories, etc.).
Yes, in 'My account' you can edit the name anytime. It appears at the top of the panel and on the customer page. Your link and QR stay exactly the same — no need to reprint anything. History, song ranking and singer ranking also stay intact.
In the host panel (/host). Play, mark as sung, skip, delete and close rounds.
Yes — 'Add manually' section in the panel. Counts toward the song ranking, but not the singer ranking (no @username attached).
Waiting songs auto-migrate to the next round. If the next fills up, the overflow cascades.
When you close the last scheduled round and there are still waiting songs (because you added them manually, granted extra slots, or songs cascaded over), the system opens an overflow round only to fit those songs — it's born locked to new requests, keeping the public queue closed. The customer queue still shows it as full: no one sneaks in and no one is left out.
Yes. The public queue shows a divider between rounds (e.g. 'End of round 1') so each singer knows where they stand. Overflow songs visually stay inside the last original round — no 'new round' pops up out of nowhere, avoiding the 'they opened another round and skipped me' confusion.
Yes. Once every scheduled round is full, the public queue locks itself: new customers scan the QR and see the 'queue is full' notice. That lock stays on even during overflow rounds — it only unlocks if the host deliberately opens another round or raises the limit.
In the panel, next to the singer in the ranking, use 'Remove from ranking'. They can still sing, but no longer appear in your public lists.
Yes, under 'My account' you edit the karaoke name, welcome messages and theme colors. Visible on the customer's public screen.
Reset karaoke clears ONLY the active queue (waiting, playing and done songs from the current night). It does NOT affect: the permanent played-songs history, the points (loyalty) ranking, the song and singer rankings for past periods (month, week — today restarts after the reset), singers' @usernames, visibility settings, nor the 7-day window in the 'Attribute singers' tab. If you changed 'songs per person' or 'limit reset' but haven't clicked 'Update limits', 'Reset karaoke' will apply those changes automatically before clearing the queue. Use it at the end of the shift or to start a fresh night without losing any stats.
During the show, focus on the queue (▶ play, ✓ mark as sung, 🗑 remove, ↕ reorder). Avoid: 'Reset karaoke' (wipes the whole queue — only at end of shift), changing the QR slug (printed links stop working), touching the ranking visibility toggles (guests see it change live), or opening 'Delete account'. The 'Attribute singers' tab is safe — it doesn't interfere with the queue and can be used anytime (or only afterwards, marking pending songs as seen).
Free (capped at 10 songs/day, no ranking), Basic ($9.90/mo or $99/yr) and Pro ($19.90/mo or $199/yr).
Good for testing. 10 songs/day cap, no public rankings. For real bar/event use, we recommend Basic or Pro.
Song & singer rankings with periods (month, day and custom range), Instagram export in 6 themes with live preview, full history of played songs (with search and name editing/unification), full neon color palette, custom farewell messages, per-person limits & cooldown, rounds with auto-divider, and priority support.
Three independent rankings: (1) Most requested songs, (2) Most active singers (by song count) and (3) Points (loyalty — Pro only). Each has tabs: Today, Week, Month and All-time. 'Week' starts Monday 06:00 in the host's timezone (aligned with the 'karaoke day'). Pro also unlocks 'Custom-period ranking', which produces all three blocks (Points, Singers and Songs) between two dates, each with its own Instagram export button. The host controls public visibility of each tab (Today/Week/Month/All) and of the points ranking individually in 'Client visibility' on the panel. Important: the Today/Week/Month tabs, the custom-period block and the points ranking show up to customers from the 1st entry — only the public All-time ranking has a 20-item floor (it needs 20 songs in Top Songs or 20 singers in Top Singers before it starts showing publicly; the host always sees everything in the panel).
Pro-only. Unlike the song-count ranking, this one rewards LOYALTY to a specific karaoke (does not affect the global ranking and is per-host — points at one karaoke don't carry over to another). Fixed weights: +10 pts per song actually played, +20 pts presence bonus per day the singer ordered a song (once a day), and +15 pts for every extra visit in the same week starting from the 2nd. The WEEK starts MONDAY at 06:00 in the host's timezone and ends the following Monday at 05:59 — aligned with the 'karaoke day' (late-night songs count toward the previous day). History is permanent: 'Reset karaoke' clears only the active queue, it does NOT affect the points ranking. Filters: Today, Week (Mon 06:00 → next Mon 06:00), Month and All-time. The host controls public visibility in the 'Client visibility' card on the panel (toggle 'Show points ranking'); the host always sees their own. Instagram export is available inside the ranking block, respecting the selected period. Ties: visit days > songs > name.
Public rankings are Pro-only. Disabled on Free and Basic — along with Instagram export, song history and name editing/unification (all depend on the ranking). Upgrade under 'My account'.
Pro only. In the panel, 'Custom-period ranking' → pick From/To → 'Generate ranking'. Three blocks appear, all computed strictly within the chosen window: 🏆 Top by points (loyalty — points, visit days and songs), 🎤 Top participants (by song count) and 🎵 Top songs (by plays). Each block has its own 'Export' button that opens the 6-theme picker and produces a 1080×1920 image ready for Instagram Stories. Useful for weekend recaps, holiday windows or 15-day stretches. Note: if songs were played in the window but no signed-in singer (@username) sang, the Participants block shows a warning explaining that only singers who signed in with @username can be ranked.
Possible reasons: (a) you requested anonymously (no singer account); (b) you left this host's ranking via /me/cliente; (c) the host removed you; (d) the host's plan doesn't include ranking; or (e) the host is only showing the public All-time ranking and it hasn't hit the 20-item floor yet (needs 20 singers in Top Singers or 20 songs in Top Songs). Reminder: songs only enter the ranking after they're actually played (status 'playing' or 'done') — songs still in the queue don't count. The other tabs (Today/Week/Month and custom period) show from the 1st entry, so ask the host to enable one of those if you want to see yourself sooner.
Songs only enter the ranking when the host hits play on them (status 'playing' or 'done'). While they're just waiting in the queue, they don't count yet. The moment the host plays a song, it shows up in the ranking. This keeps the ranking honest: only what actually played counts.
Two cards with different purposes. 'Client visibility' (👁️) is configuration: toggle what guests see on the big screen (points ranking, top songs, top singers and which periods). 'Your rankings & export' (🏆) is operational and ALWAYS available to you as host, even when public visibility is off — it's where you see the full numbers, do 'Attribute singers' and export Instagram stories. In short: the first controls what the public sees; the second is your internal tool.
When a customer requests a song without being logged in (or there was a network glitch on their phone), the song enters the queue with no owner (no @username). In this tab you type the name they used in the request, pick the time window, and the system lists their unowned songs — you attribute them to a registered @username and they start counting in that singer's ranking. Important: once attributed, the song no longer shows in the name search (intentional — avoids attributing the same song to two people and doubling the ranking). If the name doesn't appear, it was already attributed. The counter (badge) on the title shows songs from the last 7 days still without @. The 'Mark as seen' button hides the notice until new songs arrive — nothing is deleted; you can still search by name at any time.
No. The song ranking groups by song NAME only, ignoring the artist — different covers of the same song add up together. The artist also doesn't appear in the song-ranking export; it remains visible only to you in the panel and queue. In singer rankings you do have the option to show their favorite song.
Two paths, both Pro: (1) in the host panel (/host), in the song list, tap the ✏️ next to the song; or (2) under 'My account' → 'Song history' → 'See all played songs' → ✏️. In either case, all entries with the same name (accents and case ignored) are updated. If the new name matches ANOTHER existing song in your history, a 'Unify?' confirmation appears first — you decide to merge them (e.g. 'Evidencias' + 'Evidências' become one, plays summed) or cancel and type a different name. Nothing is unified without your confirmation.
Under host 'My account' → 'Song history' section → 'See all played songs'. Opens a list of every song ever sung, with search tolerant to accents, punctuation and ç (type just part of the name). Each row has a ✏️ to fix it. Pro only.
Host panel → ranking → 'Download for Instagram'. Choose between 6 themes (Neon Stage, Golden Podium, Editorial, Retro Tape, Holographic, Bar Vibe), how many to show (1–20) and what to display (name only, name + favorite song, name + @Instagram, name + @username, etc.). Live preview on every change. All in 1080×1920 story format. Pro only; the Karaokê Stage mark stays discreet on the image.
Email (auth), @username, stage name, optional @Instagram and your songs. No payment data — singers are free.
Typed name, requested songs and an anonymous device identifier (anti-fraud). No email, no personal identity.
Singers: 'Delete singer account' at /me/cliente. Hosts: 'Delete account' under 'My account'. Or email support@karaokestage.app — we reply within 15 business days.
To make sure you own the address and can recover the account if you forget your password. Done once.
Check your spam folder. /verificar-email has a 'Resend email' button. Add support@karaokestage.app to your safe sender list.
No — /verificar-email detects confirmation automatically and redirects in seconds. Leave it open while you confirm in your email.
Use the phone's native camera app. If that fails, ask the host to copy and send the link. Check the customer's internet.
Refresh the page. If it persists, confirm the karaoke isn't paused.
Under 'My account' → 'Manage payment' update the card. Until you do, the karaoke stays locked.
Expected behavior: the trial gives 5 days of full Pro. Without a subscription by end of day 5, the account drops to Free (10 songs/day, no guest QR, no rankings). To get Pro back, subscribe under 'My account'.
Karaokê Stage works perfectly in the browser (no install needed). iOS and Android apps are in preparation — when ready, the 'App Store' and 'Google Play' buttons in the footer will link directly to the stores.
Yes, as a PWA: open karaokestage.app in Chrome (Android) or Safari (iPhone) and use 'Add to Home Screen'. Becomes an icon on your phone and opens full-screen, no browser bar.
